STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Strongsville football head coach Larry Laird resigned on Friday following three seasons leading the Mustangs.

Laird, who had previously coached at Avon Lake and Medina before coming to Strongsville in 2014, went 13-17 as the head coach.

The school announced in a media release that it has already begun the search for a new coach. Laird will meet with his players on Friday afternoon, according to the release.

Strongsville went 2-8 in 2016.
