CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three men were shot during separate shootings in Cleveland, police say.
The first shooting happened shortly before 6 p.m. Friday in the 16000 block of Huntmere Avenue west of East 161st Street, Cleveland police spokesman Det. Reginald Lanton said.
The man was taken to University Hospitals with multiple gunshot wounds. His condition is unknown.
The second shooting happened at 11:30 p.m. Friday at East 77th Street and Hough Avenue, Lanton said.
The 24-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the knee. His condition is unknown and it is unclear what hospital he went to.
A third shooting happened just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday at East 152nd Street and St. Clair Avenue, Lanton said.
A 39-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound, but it is unknown where. He was taken to MetroHealth by other transportation, Lanton said.
Police have not said if the shootings are connected.
