Three men were shot and injured in a car on U.S. 50 in Prince George’s County on Thursday afternoon, temporarily closing the road, police said.
The shooting happened on the eastbound side near Columbia Park Road near Cheverly, police said shortly before 4 p.m. The men were taken to hospitals with injuries that don’t appear to be life-threatening, police said.
Eastbound U.S. 50 is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time.
