Police are seeking the public’s assistance after three men allegedly stole $1.2 million worth of medical equipment from Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto Police Service said Wednesday.
It is reported that at approximately 2:30 p.m. last Saturday three men entered the fourth floor of Toronto Western.
They then forced their way into a surgical area and removed a large quantity of medical equipment, which is worth approximately $1.2 million, police said. It is as yet unclear what specific medical equipment may have been stolen.
The first suspect is described as 6’0”, aged 35-45, clean-shaven, medium build. The second is 5’7”-5’9”, aged 45-55, clean-shaven, short dark hair, stocky build.
The third is 5’7”-5’9,” clean-shaven, medium build.
The break-and-enter investigation also involves a search for a vehicle, which is described as a silver Honda Odyssey mini van, possibly an early 2000s model.
