A Toronto man has been charged in a fatal hit-and-run last summer in Vaughan.

A driver struck and killed Adam Colucci, 35, near Highway 7 and Keele St.. at around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 and didn’t remain at the scene.

The suspect vehicle was spotted on Jan. 26, parked at an address on San Romano Way near Jane St. and Finch Ave. W. Police seized the 2012 black Nissan Frontier and determined that it had been stolen on Aug. 6, just days before the crash.

Dustyn Sharp, 19, has been charged with failing to stop at the scene of a collision causing death, theft over $5,000 and possession of stolen property.
