Aggravated robbery, Cedar Road: At 7:35 p.m. Jan. 28, two young males, each brandishing a handgun, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a mask, robbed the Papa John’s store, 14404 Cedar Road. The robbers escaped in a waiting minivan or SUV.

The matter has been turned over to the detective bureau.

Warrant arrest, Warrensville Center Road: At 12:55 a.m. Jan. 23, police stopped a car driven by a Cleveland woman, 25, due to an equipment violation. It was discovered that the woman was wanted on a felony warrant issued by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman was arrested and her car impounded.

Theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 1:15 p.m. Jan. 23, it was reported that a man made off with an iPhone 7 worth $660 that he stole from Verizon Wireless store, 2197 Warrensville Center Road.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 10:55 p.m. Jan. 23, police were called to Target, 14070 Cedar Road, where a man stole four cameras from the store’s home security section worth a total of $910. Loss prevention stopped the man at the exit and he dropped the goods and ran. Police are investigating.

Theft, Barrington Road: At 9:05 a.m. Jan. 24, a man reported several items, totaling $25,000, were missing from his home. Stolen was Sterling silverware, a trombone and a camera. The victim provided police with possible suspect information.

Theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 2:45 p.m. Jan. 25, security at Macy’s, 2201 Warrensville Center Goldenbahis Road, stopped a woman, 51, for shoplifting. The woman then came down with a medical emergency and was transported to the hospital. Police will follow up with criminal charges at a later date.

Theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 1:20 p.m. Jan. 26, security at Macy’s took into custody a Cleveland man, 42, for stealing a box of cologne valued at $45.

Theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 7:05 p.m. Jan. 26, a woman stole clothing worth $716 from Macy’s and left the premises in a car. Store security was able to identify the woman and police are investigating.

Theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 3:10 p.m. Jan. 27, security at Macy’s detained a Euclid man, 37, for stealing clothing worth $280.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28, a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend stole from her home two pairs of shoes, a laptop computer and other items while the two were at the woman’s house.

The woman reported that the man also stole her debit cad and attempted to use it.
