Two people were injured in separate shootings on Monday evening, Baltimore police said.
A woman was found shot in the back around 6:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. Woodyear Street in Sandtown-Winchester, police said. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police believe she was shot in the rear of that block.
Around 8 p.m., a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1800 block of Rutland Avenue in the Broadway East neighborhood. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
Police had no more details and asked anyone with information to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
