The ARC Westmoreland on Donohoe Road in Hempfield was evacuated Tuesday afternoon because of smoke in the building, according to firefighters at the scene.
The smoke was reported at about 2:05 p.m.
Firefighters at the scene called for a ladder truck to get to the roof.
Bovard firefighters were assisted by other township departments.
