READINGTON TWP. – A Clinton man was arrested and charged with DWI after an accident on westbound Route 22 in front of Francesco’s Trattoria, police said.
The accident happened at 9:23 p.m. on Thursday. Patrolman Terry Woolverton arrested Carmen Iazzetta, 64, while investigating the crash, police said. Iazzetta was also issued a motor-vehicle summons for careless driving. He was released pending a court appearance.
Also on Thursday, Sgt. Carlos Ferreiro arrested and charged John Burlazzi of Three Bridges with DWI after stopping him for speeding at 1:04 a.m. on Thursday, police said.
