A home along the Scottdale-Smithton Road in East Huntingdon was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon.
The fire, which was reported at 2:38 p.m., weakened the floor of the house and firefighters battling the blaze were ordered out of the structure, according to Westmoreland County Department of Public Safety dispatches.
East Huntingdon firefighters are still on the scene.
