An Easton man is accused of beating his stepfather during a dispute at a city home.
Charged is Jason E. Bailey, 39, of the 1000 block of West Lafayette Street.
Officers were dispatched at 11:06 p.m. Monday to a house in the first block of North Union Street. The victim told police Bailey, his stepson, was intoxicated and began punching and kicking him.
Court records did not say what led to the fight.

Bailey then fled the scene and was later arrested. The victim was injured; court records indicate he had a swollen eye and was bleeding from his nose.
Bailey is charged with simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Corpora, who set bail at $5,000.
In lieu of bail, Bailey was taken to Northampton County Prison.
