A fugitive wanted in two counties turned himself in Tuesday to Easton police, but faces a new charge for drug paraphernalia allegedly in his possession.

Jeremiah C. Rever, 34, of the Bangor area, came to Easton police headquarters about 5:15 p.m. to surrender on active warrants out of Northampton and York counties, Easton police said in a news release.

He was searched after being taken into custody, and that’s when police found the paraphernalia, the release states.

Rever was taken to Northampton County Prison on the warrants and will be charged via summons for the paraphernalia, police Bahsegel said.

The Northampton County warrant was for failure to appear in court Jan. 19 on a probation violation after pleading guilty to theft by deception, according to court records. The charge was filed in May 2015 by Colonial Regional police.

The York County case is for parole violation, on which Rever was due to appear Jan. 8 in court. That case is also for theft, following his arrest by Pennsylvania State Police for an incident in June 2013, court records show.
