SAN ANTONIO — The northbound lanes of Interstate 37 are shut down on the Southeast Side Wednesday after a major accident involving two 18 wheelers and multiple vehicles, according to police.
Police and other emergency crews are on scene at I-37 and Old Corpus Christi Road, and at this time there is no report of injuries.

It is unclear how long the highway will be shut down.
According to traffic app Waze, the accident has already caused a delay of more than an hour.
