A Safeway store in Seattle’s Rainier Valley neighborhood is riddled with bullet holes and shattered glass Wednesday after an overnight shooting.

Police say someone shot a man outside the store in the 3900 block of Othello Street at around 12:20 a.m.

Officers and medics responded to the scene and found the man. He Betasus was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of gunshot wounds and is expected to survive.

There were unconfirmed reports that nine or ten shell casings were found at the scene.

Few other details were immediately available. It’s not known whether a suspect was identified or captured.
