SAN ANTONIO — Two women are recovering at area hospitals Friday morning after a late-night scuffle that left one woman shot and the other run over by a vehicle, according to police.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday at the Spanish Spur apartments in the 6800 block of Pecan Valley Drive.

Family and friends of a woman who was shot and killed at the apartment complex at an earlier date got into a disturbance over property and a fight broke out, according to officials.
Shots were fired during the incident, hitting a woman in her 20s in the back while she was sitting in a black Tahoe. The woman drove off in the Tahoe and ran over a woman in her 30s, hitting her leg, a sergeant said at the scene.
The black Tahoe was found at Missions Trails Hospital, along with the gunshot victim. The woman whose foot was run over was transported to University Hospital.
The shooting suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, the sergeant said.

Rose Marie Limon, 33, died on Jan. 31 at the Southeast Side apartment complex. She died from gunshot wounds to the face and neck, according to a previous report.
