SAN ANTONIO — A 38-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and charged in the kidnapping a 2-year-old girl who may have been his daughter, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Jackson allegedly took the two-year-old girl shortly before midnight Monday, when he pulled up to a residence in the 6200 block of Robin Forest. The girl was with her mother in the front yard when Jackson took the girl and fled the scene, according to BCSO.

Investigators found the suspect Wednesday afternoon with the child in the 400 block of Hub Avenue on the East Side.
The girl was safely transported back to the custody of her mother and Jackson was arrested without further incident, said BCSO spokeswoman Rosanne Hughes.
Demetric Jackson faces a felony charge of kidnapping and faces prison time if convicted.
