SAN ANTONIO — Police released a shocking image Wednesday of a woman’s charred tattoo, the only recognizable piece left of a burned body found last month in the South Side.

According to police, the woman was found around 5 a.m. Jan. 22 after a fire burned down a detached garage at a home in the 300 block of West Harding Boulevard.

Police describe the woman as Hispanic, around 18-35 years old. She appears to have had brown hair, breast implants and a tattoo on her lower back.

Anyone with information on the victim or possible suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-7867.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect responsible for the woman’s death.
