SAN ANTONIO — University of Texas at San Antonio President Ricardo Romo was put on leave Tuesday, university officials confirmed.
Joe Izbrand, UTSA chief communications officer, confirmed Romo’s temporary departure Tuesday afternoon, but was not able to provide additional details.
Romo was set to retire later this year, according to previous reports.
