GLENDALE, Ariz. — Aaron Rowand was immensely popular with Chicago White Sox fans when he was on the playing roster from 2001-05. The hard-nosed center fielder is back with the Sox as the minor-league outfield and baserunning instructor.
Rowand, working with runners Tuesday at Camelback Ranch, also managed the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League after the 2016 season. Is he making steps toward managing in the major leagues?
