A 68-year-old Berks County woman visiting her recently deceased husband’s grave suffered a medical emergency, crashed an SUV in the cemetery and later died, according to a published report.
Nancy J. Heist, 68, of Colbrookdale Township, was trapped in the vehicle after she experienced an “asthma-related event” at Highland Memorial Park cemetery in Montgomery County, the Pottsown Mercury reported.

She wasn’t found for about two-and-a-half hours after the SUV struck a tree about 6 p.m. Saturday in Pottstown. She was taken to Reading Hospital, where she died about 10 p.m. of natural causes, the newspaper reported.
Her husband Walter O. Heist, 76, died Feb. 10; they had been married 42 years, according to the Mercury.
