CLEVELAND, Ohio – A teenage boy was shot Monday night in Cleveland’s Union-Miles neighborhood, police said.
The shooting happened about 8 p.m. on the 3800 block of East 149th Street, near Glendale Park in the city’s Union-Miles neighborhood, Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia said.
The victim, a 16-year-old boy, was shot in the abdomen, Ciaccia said. His current condition is unknown.
No further information on the shooting was immediately available. This post will be updated if more details are released Monday night.
The boy was the fourth teen shot Monday night on the city’s East Side. Three teens — two girls and a boy — were struck by gunfire near the intersection of East 105th Street and Ostend Avenue in the city’s Glenville neighborhood, police said.
