USC received 10 points in this week’s Associated Press men’s basketball poll, leaving it fifth in the “others receiving votes” category.
Appearing on four ballots, the Trojans are effectively ranked No. 30. They were last ranked in the top 25 in early January.
Last week, they received 16 points.
The Trojans, who are 21-6 overall and 8-6 in the Pac-12, have lost consecutive games to Oregon and UCLA, including a 102-70 rout by the Bruins on Saturday night at Pauley Pavilion. Each of those teams rose one spot this week — UCLA to No. 5 and Oregon to No. 6.
The Trojans’ formidable stretch continues at No. 4 Arizona at 7 p.m. Thursday.
