The trio then committed a second armed robbery in a parking lot at 138th Street and Cicero Avenue in Crestwood before driving north on Cicero Avenue, police said.

The Blue Island officers spotted the suspects’ vehicle on 139th Street and began pursuing it. The collision occurred at 139th and Thornton Road; no other details on what cause the crash were released.

The officers and two of the suspects were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn for treatment of minor injuries and released, police said.
