PENNS GROVE — A man is being sought for what police say has been a string of burglaries in the borough over the past few days.

Robert “Bobby” Oliver, 24, of neighboring Carneys Point Township is wanted, according to Penns Grove Chief of Police John T. Stranahan.

Oliver allegedly has been involved in “multiple” burglaries at businesses over the past three days.

Police have positively identified Oliver as a suspect in the cases, Stranahan said, and on Friday released a surveillance photo allegedly showing Oliver in the act of committing a burglary.

Warrants haves been issued for his arrest on multiple counts of burglary and theft, the chief said.

When caught, Oliver will be held without bail.

He was arrested in the fall and charged with burglarizing a Carneys Point laundromat.

Anyone with information on Oliver is asked to call Penns Grove Police at 856-299-0055.
