Two men were wounded in separate shootings Friday on the Far South and South sides, police said.
The first shooting happened about 10:50 a.m. to the 300 block of East 134th Street in the Eden Green neighborhood, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago police spokeswoman.
The man, reportedly in his 20s, suffered a wound to the stomach area and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Tannehill said.
About 1 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Gresham neighborhood in the 7700 block of South Green Street, police said.
The victim suffered a wound to the left leg, and was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition.
No one was in custody for either attack, and police were investigating.
