After a two-day operation, undercover agents arrested four women accused of prostitution and eight men accused of soliciting their services, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
The sting began on Wednesday, targeting prostitution activity on Ridgewood Avenue in Daytona Beach, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The agents, who were posing as customers, arrested and charged the following women with prostitution: Nicole Desantis, 44, and Brenda Usher, 43, both of Daytona Beach; Ashley Narehood, 31, transient; and Natasha Smith, 31, of South Daytona.
Desantis and Usher are facing felony charges due to prior prostitution arrests.Usher was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Thursday, the agents posed as prostitutes.
The eight men were charged with soliciting, inducing, enticing or procuring another to commit prostitution, lewdness or assignation. The men arrested include Patrick Chapman, 58, and Lawrence Styger, 64, of Port Orange; Alfonso Cirrito, 74, and Kambiz Khalaji, 49, of Ormond Beach; Bradley Harold, 29, and Marvin Harris, 67, of Daytona Beach; Christopher Milazzo, 48, of Edgewater and Rickey Walker, 54, of DeLand.
Walker was also charged with violating his parole, relating to his conviction of burglary with assault, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
