MEDINA, Ohio – West Smith Road between South State Road and Fair Road will be closed to all traffic from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
No traffic will be permitted within the closure area.
The closure is necessary for First Energy to complete work on overhead transmission lines in conjunction with the West Smith Road reconstruction project.
West Smith Road from Lake Road east to the railroad tracks near PlastiPak, 870 W. Smith Road, will be open to local traffic only in both the eastbound and westbound directions.
The intersection of West Smith Road and South State Road will remain open, but no westbound traffic will be permitted during the closure period.
Detours and barricades will be set up and maintained during the project.
