College Football 24/7 polled 25 prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft last month at the Reese’s Senior Bowl on various football-related questions that, collectively, provide some insight into how the NFL’s incoming talent views the game’s teams, coaches and players. This week, we’ll publish the poll results. Today’s question:
Who will be picked No. 1 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft?
Of the poll questions asked of Senior Bowl players, the biggest landslide of a winner was Myles Garrett as the No. 1 pick of the draft, garnering 16 of 25 votes. NFL.com analyst Daniel Jeremiah agrees that the Texas A&M star pass rusher is the right fit for the Cleveland Browns at the top of the draft. A Texas native who played his college ball in the Lone Star state, Baylor’s Seth Russell, endorsed Garrett emphatically.
"He’s proven himself time and time again. With what he’s produced, how do you not take him No. 1?," Russell said.
Full poll results:
Myles Garrett (16)
Deshaun Watson (6)
Jonathan Allen (2)
Leonard Fournette (1)
Jabrill Peppers (1)
