My Fit Foods Co., a packaged healthy food maker based in Austin, announced Sunday that it would close all its stores. It operated one in Costa Mesa.

The 11-year-old company sold prepared healthy meals.

“Since 2006, My Fit Foods has been on a mission to make healthy eating easy and accessible for everyone. We’ve enjoyed getting to know you and we are product that we have made a difference in many of your lives,” the company wrote on its website. “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of all of our stores. We know that you have depended upon us to support your healthy habits and we are deeply sorry for an inconvenience our closure may have caused you.”

Muscle Maker Grill, a fast-casual restaurant chain that also sells healthy meal plans, said it will accept My Fit Foods offers and coupons at face value at its store in Irvine at the Jamboree Promenade Shopping Center.

Customers who have unused My Fit Foods gift cards and meal plan contracts can apply outstanding balances at Muscle Maker Grill by contacting the support line at https://musclemakergrill.com/contact/.

“In light of the announcement of My Fit Foods Co. closing all of its stores, we wanted to assist those customers leading a healthy lifestyle to help keep their nutrition on track. Muscle Maker Grill has been offering nutritious alternatives to traditional dishes to guests since 1995, and we are committed to providing our fresh, healthy menu options in a casual atmosphere,” Muscle Maker chief executive Robert E. Morgan said in a statement.

Muscle Maker Grill did not have any prior affiliation with My Fit Foods.

Muscle Maker Grill also provides meal plans for pick up and delivery. Guests can chose from 28 menu items. Meal plans in Irvine start at $39.99.

The company was founded in 1995 and started franchising in 2007.
