CLEVELAND, Ohio – That’s right, Cleveland, although we’ve had some nice warm days this week, we are expecting another day of a cool down. This afternoon, temperatures won’t top above 30 degrees, but with calm winds, wind chills won’t be too bad. There’s a very slim chance of snow flurries this morning, but the rest of the day you can expect partly cloudy skies.

The How:
Some very light lake effect snow flurries could fall in the morning, but by late morning high pressure will sneak in drying skies out too much to spark anymore showers.
High pressure causes sinking motion in the atmosphere, which is what causes the drying, and also increases the air’s stability. Since you need instability to trigger any sort of precipitation, this is why chances are so low.
