Vince Young is coming out of retirement.
Agent Leigh Steinberg – the inspiration for iconic movie agent Jerry Maquire – announced Wednesday that Young had signed with his agency, Steinberg Sports & Entertainment.
According to Steinberg, Young is following his “dream of playing more football.”

Selected third overall by the Titans in 2006, Young appeared in 60 games during his six-year career, throwing for nearly 9,000 yards and rushing for over 1,400. He was named the 2006 Offensive Rookie of the Year and 2009 Comeback Player of the Year, and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2006 and 2009.
The Texas legend has not played in a regular-season NFL game since 2011. He signed one-year contracts with Buffalo, Green Bay and Cleveland in the following years, but never made it onto a regular-season roster.
Young announced his retirement in 2014.
Now 33 and nearly three years removed from his last stint with the Browns – which lasted all of 12 days – the former Heisman winner has much to prove before Steinberg will be able to show him the money.
