Grand theft, Westbury Road: At 1:30 a.m. Feb. 12, police detained two, 20-year-old Shaker Heights men who were seen in, and fleeing from, a car stolen in the city of Cleveland. The suspects were first spotted in the car on Westbury Road. Police followed the suspects until they were apprehended on Kinsman Road in Cleveland.

Shots fired, Palmerston Road: At 6:30 a.m. Feb. 9, police were called to the 3000 block of Palmerston Road after shots were fired in the area. Two homes were damaged and police recovered evidence of the gun play. No one was injured.

Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 2 p.m. Feb. 9, police detained a Cleveland resident, 56, for theft at CVS/Pharmacy, 17075 Chagrin Blvd.

Theft from vehicle, Lomond Boulevard: At 5:40 p.m. Feb. 9, a resident living in the 18000 block of Lomond Boulevard reported that someone entered their parked vehicle and stole personal property.

Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 9:50 a.m. Feb. 10, the owner of Shaker Heights Hardware, 17111 Chagrin Blvd., reported that someone stole tires and rims from a locked area of the store.

Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 5:35 p.m. Feb. 10, officers detained a Cleveland resident, 36, while in the 3000 block of Chelton Road, for stealing merchandise that day from Walgreen’s, 16400 Chagrin Blvd.

It was also found that the suspect was wanted on a Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office warrant.

Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 8:25 p.m. Feb. 10, the manager at CVS/Pharmacy reported that a male suspect stole cleaning supplies and fled the store.

Theft from auto, Ingleside Road: At 7:55 a.m. Feb. 11, a resident living in the 3000 block of Ingleside Road reported that someone entered their unlocked car during the previous night and stole personal property.

Burglary, Hildana Road: At 8:50 a.m. Feb. 11, a property manager reported that someone entered a vacant home that is being remodeled in the 3000 block of Hildana Road and stole copper pipes.

Grand theft, Larchmere Boulevard: At 1:50 p.m. Feb. 11, a Cleveland resident who left their 2007 Jeep unlocked and running in the lot of the BP gas station at 13165 Larchmere Blvd., reported that the vehicle was stolen.

Entry into auto, Scottsdale Boulevard: At 3:45 p.m. Feb. 12, a resident living in the 18000 block of Scottsdale Boulevard reported that someone entered their unlocked car, which was parked in the resident’s driveway. Nothing was reported stolen.

Grand theft, Warrensville Center Road: At 7:55 a.m. Feb. 13, a resident living in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road reported that someone stole their unlocked vehicle, parked in their garage.

Robbery, Chagrin Boulevard: At 6:35 p.m. Feb. 13, a 15-year-old Shaker Heights boy reported that two suspects approached him and demanded his cell phone. One of the suspects had a gun. The boy ran and did not turn over his phone to the suspects.

The incident occurred in the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard.

Attempted burglary, Ludgate Road: At 11:10 a.m. Feb. 14, a resident living in the 3000 block of Ludgate Road reported that someone damaged the door frame to their home while trying to break in. The break-in was unsuccessful and nothing was stolen.

Burglary, Becket Road: At 1:15 p.m. Feb. 14, police responded to the 14000 block of Becket Road where a resident reported that someone had entered their home and stole two televisions.
