Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot will be worth at least $310 million when the winning numbers are drawn just before 11 p.m.
The cash option is worth $189.3 million, though both the cash and annuity prizes are likely to climb once final ticket sales are tallied.
The drawing can be watched on WABC-7 or WPVI-6 in the New York and Philadelphia areas, respectively. NJ.com will also post the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
Saturday’s winning numbers were 37, 64, 17, 9, 5. The Powerball was 2.
Five tickets sold across the country matched five numbers but not the Powerball. One was sold in Missouri. The other four were purchased in Puerto Rico, where the buyer(s) spent an additional $1 to exercise the Powerplay option. Those tickets are worth $2 million apiece.
One $50,000 was ticket bought at Main Street Submarine in Madison, state lottery officials said. The ticket matched four numbers and the Powerball.
No one has hit the jackpot for the twice-weekly drawing in nearly two months. An anonymous Pennsylvania couple chose the cash option and won a pre-tax prize of $72,145,291.83 following the Dec. 17 drawing. The ticket was sold in Delaware, which allows winners to remain anonymous.
A Powerball ticket costs $2. It’s played in 44 states, Washington D.C. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
