Opdenergy recorded a net profit of 5.8 million euros during the first half of this year, which represents a decrease of 66.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, while multiplying its gross operating result by two ( Ebitda), up to 55.36 million euros.

The company’s total income between January and June reached 78.28 million euros, more than double that of last year (125.3%), as reported this Friday by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV). ).

Opdenergy obtained a net operating profit (Ebit) of 46.2 million euros in the first six months of the year, 140.9% more than the 19.1 million recorded a year earlier.

The independent renewable energy producer informed the CNMV on September 18 that it had hired the services of BBVA and Société Générale as financial advisors in relation to the voluntary public acquisition offer (OPA) of shares formulated by the French fund Antin, to through GCE BidCo, to acquire 100% of the capital of the renewable group for approximately 866 million euros.

It was in June when the French fund announced the operation to acquire Opdenergy at a price of 5.85 euros per share, a request for authorization of the offer that was accepted for processing by the CNMV.
