The University of Oregon women’s track team continued to hold fast to the top spot in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association indoor rankings, released Monday.
The Ducks have won six of the last seven NCAA Indoor titles, and seem poised to make it seven out of eight.
They had some big performances last weekend. Among them was sprinter Hannah Cunliffe’s winning time time of 7.09 seconds in the 60 meters at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
The USTFCCCA recognizes it as a collegiate record.
The Ducks are trailed in the top five by usual suspects Georgia, Arkansas, USC and LSU.
