Orange County deputies have released surveillance photos of a man possibly connected to a Jan. 2 shooting in Holden Heights.

The photos show a man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat and carrying a backpack. Deputies said the man appears to be 30-35 years old, is between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall, walks with a limp and has an accent.

Sheriff’s officials said the man was possibly involved in a shooting at the Grandview Pointe apartments on Americana Boulevard that left a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Deputies responded to the complex about 10 p.m. after getting a call about gunshots in the area, just east of Texas Avenue.

They quickly spotted a 26-year-old man, whose name wasn’t released, with multiple wounds. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition and expected to survive, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

No other details about the incident have been released. It’s unclear how the man in the photos might be connected to the shooting.

Anyone with information about the man in the photos can call Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
