Also in Washington County, half of the Gales Creek Bridge will be removed 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday Feb 13-14, as part of a larger construction project. Flaggers will direct traffic but expect delays up to 20 minutes. The current project will replace the existing bridge with a longer, wider structure that will be built above the flood plain and include two 12-foot wide travel lanes with shoulders to accommodate cyclists and farm equipment.
