Icy road conditions have prompted some New Jersey school districts to announce a delayed opening on Monday morning.
Areas of black ice forming on untreated surfaces could produce slippery travel for the morning commute, the National Weather Service says.
There is also a high wind warning and a wind advisory in effect around the state this morning.
Here’s a county-by-county look at districts which will open late this morning. Counties with just one closing are also listed below:
- Essex – Livingston (2 hours delay)
- Hunterdon – Clinton Township (2 hours)
- Morris
- Somerset
- Union
- Warren – Warren Hills Regional (2 hour)
