Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) could also make grave mistakes!
In “Scandal” Season 6, episode 4, titled “The Belt,” Olivia could realize that she was wrong for pinning Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry) for the murder of Frankie Vargas (Ricardo Chavira). In the promo released by ABC for the episode, Olivia tells Huck (Guillermo Diaz) and Quinn (Katie Lowes) that she’s certain Cyrus was responsible for having Frankie assassinated. After all, Tom (Brian Letscher) confessed to killing Frankie after Cyrus ordered him to do so.
Cyrus was sent to prison, and Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) is elated that she could become the next president of the United States by default. And since Olivia was the one who ran her campaign, she is equally excited for their win. However, the lead character’s conscience will keep bugging her. During her phone call with Cyrus, President Fitzgerald Grant’s (Tony Goldwyn) former main man tells Olivia that he really isn’t responsible for having Frankie assassinated. Olivia and the Gladiators will also uncover a surprising information from the night of Frankie’s demise.
A series of flashbacks from the previous episode showed how loyal Cyrus is to the late Governor. In fact, during his conversation with Tom, Cyrus told the creepy character that Frankie was the only one who had his back. Frankie also supported him and wanted to pursue great things with him that’s why he asked him to be his vice president. So the biggest mystery in this week’s episode of “Scandal” Season 6 still has to do with the identity of Frankie’s killer.
“Scandal” Season 6, episode 4 will air on ABC on Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. EST.
