Former Glencoe High School standout Kaylie Van Loo had a game-high 23 points, Holly Blades and Julie Spencer scored 14 apiece, and the Portland Pilots women’s basketball team used a big fourth quarter to put away visiting Loyola Marymount for a 71-56 victory Saturday at Chiles Center.
With many of her ex-Jesuit High School teammates on hand to cheer her on, former Crusaders star Kate Andersen contributed six points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Pilots, who outscored the Lions 30-15 in the final period.
Cheyanne Wallace had 20 points to lead LMU.
The Pilots improved to 5-20 overall and 3-11 in the West Coast Conference. The Lions dropped to 11-14 and 6-8.
