Four people were wounded during shootings Friday in the city’s Roseland, Homan Square and Brainerd neighborhoods, police said.

Two 17-year-old boys were walking near the 10300 block of South Corliss in Roseland about 6:50 p.m. when an unknown assailant approached them and fired shots. 

The first victim was shot in the back and taken to Christ hospital in good condition. The second victim was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Roseland Hospital.

Earlier, a 27-year-old man was walking in the 3700 block of West Roosevelt Road about 2:30 p.m. when an assailant wearing a black hoodie confronted him and fired shots, hitting him in the foot.

The 27-year-old was taken by friends to the University of Illinois Hospital where he was treated, police said.

A 19-year-old was shot in the thigh about 9:45 a.m. in the 9000 block of South May Street in the city’s Brainerd neighborhood, police said.

He was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

No one was in custody, and police were investigating.
