Charged is Lisa Garcia, no age provided, of the 100 block of South Chestnut Street in Bath.

A district asset protection manager for Weis Markets, along Crawford Drive in Hanover Township, reported to Colonial Regional police she noticed cash registers and the safe were unusually short on cash when Garcia was working.

Police said the manager then began reviewing store video surveillance footage and watched Garcia stealing cash from the register. Garcia on Jan. 6 allegedly admitted to the crime.
