CAMDEN — A Burlington County man who previously admitted to planning the armed robbery of a drug stash house he believed to hold more than 30 pounds of cocaine was sentenced Wednesday to eight years in federal prison.

Sean Forman, of Willingboro, had pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Noel L. Hillman in Camden to charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to distribute cocaine, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman.

Forman, 43, was one of five people arrested in Maple Shade on Jan. 30, 2014, after an undercover agent from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms recorded them plotting the robbery, according to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court.

The conspirators believed the stash house was being used to store approximately 33 to 44 pounds of “pure coke,” according to court papers.

Authorities say the group planned to pose as law enforcement officers, and that at least one of the conspirators was recorded expressing a willingness to kill any rival dealers they encountered at the stash house.

A search of the conspirators’ vehicles after their arrest turned up five firearms, a ballistic vest, masks, gloves and zip ties, as well as numerous rounds of ammunition, authorities say.

In addition to Forman, Derrick Adams, 30, Daquon Basnight, 25, Jamiil McFarlane, 24, and Morris Muse, 36, all have since pleaded guilty and been sentenced to prison in the case, according to prosecutors.

Smith was later convicted at trial and sentenced to 30 years in prison.

In addition to the prison term, Hillman sentenced Forman to five years of supervised release, according to prosecutors.
