Police are searching for a robber in socks and flip flops who held a woman at gunpoint in her own home in Queens last Wednesday.

The 28-year-old victim was outside of her home on 205 Place in Hollis, Queens when she was rushed by a man in Nike sandals who grabbed her and demanded money.

Pointing a gun at her head and threatening to shoot, he forced his way into her home with her and made off with $3,000 in cash before fleeing north up 205 Place on foot.

The robber is described as a 5-foot 10-inch black male with facial hair, and was last seeing wearing a black puffer jacket, black knit hat and sandals with socks.
