A snowstorm that’s expected to drop more than 6 inches of snow or more across a large portion of New Jersey has led hundreds of New Jersey schools to close on Thursday.
Snow is expected to begin by day break and last until mid-day or mid-afternoon.
Wind gusts of 35 mph could knock down utility poles and cause power outages, the National Weather Service warned.
Here’s a county-by-county list of schools that have already announced they won’t be opening on Thursday. Additional schools will be added as districts announce closures.
