Awards season continued with the 69th annual Directors Guild of America awards, which were held this week at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
As expected, Damien Chazelle won the top award, Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Feature Film, for his musical “La La Land,” beating out the directors of “Arrival,” “Lion,” “Manchester by the Sea” and “Moonlight.”
