Who knew self-pleasers could be so emotional?
Adult-video sharing platform RedTube polled its users for predictions ahead of the 59th Grammy Awards and the results are in: The basement-dwelling masses are desperate for an Adele clean sweep.
More than 100,000 votes from all over the world were tallied, and in the Record of the Year category, Adele’s “Hello” won with 39 percent of the total respondents. Coming in second was Ohio rock duo 21 Pilots and their song “Stressed Out” — which presumably is also the reason people glided over to RedTube in the first place.
Beyoncé came in last in the category, with just 11 percent of voters plumping for “Formation.” Proof, if ever it was needed, that at least 89 percent of RedTube users are wankers.
It’s no one-shot deal, either. One-handed Web surfers voted in droves for Adele, who is up for five awards at Sunday’s ceremony in Los Angeles. Thirty-four percent felt that she should take home Album of the Year for “25,” while “Hello” was also deemed to be worthy of winning both Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
Surprisingly, Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” (nominated for both Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance) polled only in the teens. Apparently RedTubers aren’t so keen on preaching what they practice.
