College students, the professionals of making magic happen minutes before deadline, came out in full force Tuesday when Ellen DeGeneres gave Longhorns at the University of Texas at Austin just a few hours to throw together a Beyoncé costume for tickets to the Grammy’s.
The TV host announced the contest early Tuesday via Twitter. Packs of “pregnant” pillow bellies and “Single Ladies” leotards filled the UT campus as representatives for The Ellen Show picked winners for the tickets. Even Bevo got in on the Bey buzz.

Th comedienne herself wasn’t on campus, but Ellen reporters went live from the school, showing a massive crowd of last-minute wannabe Beys.
“That’s big crowd, I’m hearing that it’s larger than the inauguration,” Ellen quipped.
Ellen’s staff picked finalists, including women who admitted to nearly being arrested for sneaking into floor seats at a Beyoncé concert.

To narrow down the competition, hopefuls were given minutes to recreate Beyonce’s already iconic pregnancy photo shoot. A student named Collin shined for his underwater shot and won the tickets. Other finalists won $500 Best Buy gift cards.
