CLEVELAND, Ohio – Bend the Knee Golden Ale – the next “Game of Thrones” release from Brewery Ommegang – will be available around Memorial Day.

The ale pays homage to the struggle for control of the Seven Kingdoms on the HBO show, a rep says. It will be available on draft and in three 750ml bottles, each adorned with one of the three Great House sigils. The ale is a healthy 9 percent alcohol and will carry a suggested retail price of $11. And like all of its large-format predecessors in the series, it comes with cork and cage.

The brewery says Bend the Knee is brewed with pils malt and flaked oats and hopped with Saaz, Bravo and Styrian Golding hops, while wildflower honey added during fermentation yields a light sweetness to the beer, which finishes dry.

This is the eighth bottle in the series from Ommegang and HBO Global Licensing. No release date has been set for the seventh season of the show.

Brewery Ommegang is based in Cooperstown, New York.
