A residence at 690 Wilbur Ave. was burning just after 8:30 a.m. in Phillipsburg.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to Thomas Street and Wilbur Avenue as flames poured from windows to the rear of the yellow-sided structure.

Town fire, police and emergency medical personnel were at the scene.
The building has at least two units, according to a report from the scene. Dispatches called it an apartment building.
